Are you passionate about untangling complex ideas and bringing clarity to a world drowning in information overload? At Rationality Lab, we are building a home for critical thinking, science, and skepticism specifically aimed at but not limited to Indian demography.
Topics We Cover We welcome pitches and full drafts across the following core domains:
- Rationality : Practical tools for better decision-making and navigating modern information ecosystems.
- Neuroscience & Cognitive Science: The biology of human behavior, the evolution of language, and the quirks of the brain.
- Scientific Thinking & Skepticism: Critical analysis of popular claims, and the philosophy of science.
- Statistics & Data Literacy: Demystifying numbers, probability, and explaining how data is used (and how to spot when it’s being used to lie).
- Science Policy & Education: The intersection of basic sciences, academic funding, language barriers in learning, and technology ecosystems.
Editorial Guidelines
- Evidence is Non-Negotiable: Back up your claims with reliable data, historical context, and credible research.
- Ditch the Jargon: Write for the curious layperson.
- Engaging Narratives: Tell a story with data.
- Originality: We want fresh perspectives.
- Length: 1200 to 1,500 words.
- AI Policy: AI can be used for research and drafting with human in loop. The final article should be thoroughly verified and mostly written by human.
